I wanted to challenge myself with something small that had wings, so I decided to create a mini pegasus. This one proved to be challenging due to its size and with the flexibility of Super Sculpey while its warm.

I started the pegasus with a small bundle of aluminum foil to bulk out the body and wrapped small gauge wire to create the limbs and tail. The mane was cut out as a sheet first as i laid layers to create the diversity in the hair stands, with the same process for the wings and tail.

The moon received a similar process with the foil and wire to create a stand. I then took small tendrils of clay and created the designs bit by bit. All pieces then received multiple layers of paint of different tones to create depth and vibrancy.
